A Chinese online shop is already selling the right to migrate to the Kepler-452b, an Earth-like planet recently announced by NASA.
After NASA announced its discovery of the new exo-planet Kepler-452b, a listing has popped up on Chinese e-commerce site TaoBao which offers an "immigration status ticket" for migration to the potentially habitable planet, 1,400 light years away for a mere 0.2 yuan, or about $0.03.
Kepler-452b, 60 per cent larger than Earth, is among more than 1,000 exo-planets, which are thought to have similar attributes to Earth such as a rocky surface, oceans and orbiting a star like our Sun at a habitable distance.
The newly found exo-planet made international headlines and raised hopes humans may not be alone in the cosmos.
