An estranged couple smashed into each other’s luxury car Thursday noon in Shunde County, Southern China’s Guangdong province to vent their anger over a disputed property split, Guangzhou Daily reported.
At about 12pm local time on Thurday, the husband, driving a black Mercedes, smashed purposely into his wife’s white BMW on a downtown street, causing damages to both cars, the newspaper quoted witnesses at the scene as saying.
Police says that the husband and wife are in the process of filing divorce and could not reach a peaceful agreement on their property split. When the woman tried to drive away, the man would not let her. He drove to chase her, and thus incurred the car crash.
