
BEIJING, Aug. 27 -- Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang will attend the first Eastern Economic Forum from Sept. 3 to 5 in Vladivostok, Russia, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced on Thursday.
Wang will also attend the first meeting of a group set up to coordinate cooperation between China's northeast and Russia's far east.
Wang's visit is at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Yury Trutnev, who is also presidential envoy to Russia's Far Eastern Federal District.
