Wang Yan is a freshman of Baoji University of Arts and Science. In March, she was diagnosed with hemorrhagic cerebral infarction on the left temporal lobe. Due to the situation of Wang’s family and the sky-high price of treatment, many people donated for Wang Yan. Soon the donation from all the good-hearted people reached 200,000 yuan.
Under the help from society and the good treatment from the hospital, Wang Yan started to recover in July. Her family made the decision of returning the rest of the donation to help more people in need. “We can’t hurt any of those loving hearts.” They contacted a commonweal organization in Baoji, and returned the remaining 120,000 yuan of the donation on Sept. 4, 2015.
The organization decided to give the money to three poor children with no mother. “If Wang Yan needs money later for her treatment, we will give it back to her,” said the person in charge of the organization.
