
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sept. 10 -- The government of Brunei Darussalam through the Ministry of Development (MOD) held here on Wednesday a Contract Signing Ceremony with China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) Ltd. for the Proposed Temburong Bridge Project.
The mega project was divided into six contract packages, with the first package awarded to Brunei-Korean Joint Venture Daelim Swee, while the CC4 (Temburong Viaduct) goes to China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) Ltd. / Ocean Quarry &Construction Sdn. Bhd. Joint Venture.
The estimated cost for the Temburong Bridge is around 1.6 billion Brunei dollars (about 1.13 billion U.S. dollars). The construction is expected to be completed by 2019.
