He rented a piece of land in his hometown and built a 60 KW photovoltaic power generation project which consists of 240 pieces of photovoltaic panels. The whole project costs him 480,000 yuan. It can generate 300-500 kWh of electricity per day in a day with sufficient sunlight. It will generate 60,000 kWh of electricity through the year.
According to Li Bin, marketing director of National Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company, Peng Xiaoping’s project is the biggest private photovoltaic power generation station in Chongqing, and it has a strong demonstration effect in the local village.
