The Exhibition "Great Forbidden City" is held in the T3 Terminal in Beijing Capital International Airport Sunday. More than 80 photos featuring the ancient buildings and cultural relics of the Forbidden City compose a cultural corridor in the airport.
This year marks the 90th anniversary of the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum, China's Cultural Relics Information Center and Beijing Capital International Airport work together to jointly organize the "Great Forbidden City" Exhibition. Over 80 pictures selected from more than 1.8 million photos featuring the ancient buildings and cultural relics are displayed in three parts - the "building", "heritage" and "exhibition".
The exhibition will last till Oct. 20. Through the exhibition, the spectators will discover the magnificent buildings, exquisite ancient art collections, as well as generous multi-cultural connotation of the 600-year-old Forbidden City.
