
Chinese First Lady Peng Li Yuan revisited Lincoln Center in New York on Septmber 28, 2015, ten years after she led the opera Mulan Psalm here in 2005.
When she meets with her old friends in Lincoln Center, she said, “You still look so young. It is the dedication to art that render you untouched by aging.”
The First Lady is also shown the manuscripts of Beethoven and Mozart in the Juilliard School in Lincoln Center. “Priceless!” She says.
The First Lady then praises the school for the masters they have cradled and the spirit of music they have passed down from generation to generation. She hails the school as “a model of musical education".
