Junming was born in Kunming Maternity and Infant Hospital in September 2010. His mother suffered a difficult birth because Junming was too big as an infant. Worrying about the cerebral palsy left by the difficult birth, his parents abandoned Junming in the hospital.
Under the attentive medical care, Junming has fully recovered. But his mother still stubbornly believes Junming is a child with cerebral palsy and refuses to bring him home.
Junming, 5, grows up in the hospital. The hospital is his home. He has established a deep affection with the staff in the hospital. He calls them "dad" and "mom".
