
A refitted "solar powered electric car" attracted huge attention in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province on Oct. 5, 2015. The car was equipped with a photovoltaic panel, a windshield, wipers, auxiliary wheels, a navigator, a tablet PC and even air conditioning.
The owner is a math teacher who has spent ten thousand yuan in refitting the "car" and increased its range from 30 kilometers to 100 kilometers. He often rides the "car" to send his grandkid to kindergarten.
