NANNING, Oct. 17 -- Chinese police have busted a drug ring in Yulin City in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, arresting 22 suspects.
A total of 1,199 kilograms of ketamine and a large amount of materials for manufacturing drugs were seized, local police said on Saturday.
In early 2014, police learned that drug dealers from Guangdong Province were planning to produce drugs in Bobai County of Yulin City. Interactions between drug dealers on both sides became more frequent in September 2015.
In Oct. 15, police busted a meth lab in Yulin City, arresting eight suspects, with 1,199 kilograms of ketamine and more than two tonnes of drug-making materials seized.
Meanwhile, another 14 suspects were apprehended in Bobai County and the provincial capital, Nanning.
The case is under further investigation.
