The construction of Shanghai Disneyland Park has finally been completed and it is expected to open in 2016.
It will be the second Disneyland Park in China, the third one in Asia and the sixth in the world.
To celebrate the arrival of the park, local farmers around the park created this gigantic image of Mickey Mouse with the message “Welcome the opening of Disney” in a paddy rice field covering 12 acres.
The farmers spent several months to create the gigantic Mickey Mouse by planting rice of different colors, including green, black and white, which will be reaped for citizens to taste at the end of November.
