As the world-famed ceramic capital, Jingdezhen city has a long history of ceramics making and a rich cultural heritage. Among 72 traditional techniques of producing porcelain, there is a porcelain painting technique “Gucai”. The technique has been famous for hundreds of years and is listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.
