
The long landscape paintings, titled "Humanized Landscape Painting of China's Yangtze River" and "Natural Landscape Digital Painting of China's Yangtze River" took over 100 artists five years to finish, and recently debuted in Wuhan, a city in central China's Hubei province.
At 630 meters long, the long scroll "Humanized Landscape Painting of China's Yangtze River" is the joint work of over 130 artists. The 630 meters of the painting represent the 6,300 kilometer-long Yangtze River. The painting covers over 1,000 cultural landscapes along the Yangtze River, such as the Potala Palace, Yellow Crane Tower, Yueyang Tower and the Three Gorges, with a time span of over 5,000 years.
At 180 meters long, "Natural Landscape Digital Painting of China's Yangtze River" uses aerial photos of the Yangtze River Basin and covers over 200 natural landscapes.
These two landscape paintings comprehensively display the rich cultural and natural scenery of the Yangtze River Basin.
