China National Petroleum Corporation intends to sign an agreement with Russia's Gazprom this year on the construction of the cross-border section of the Power of Siberia natural gas pipeline.
According to a statement Gazprom published on Tuesday, “the agreement will be signed before the end of 2015". The construction will include the crossing under Heilongjiang River in northeastern China and is expected to deliver gas to China from Russia's Far East.
