
BEIJING, Dec. 11 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed six new ambassadors, upon approval by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, according to a statement by the national legislature on Friday.
Pan Hejun was appointed ambassador to Rwanda, replacing Shen Yongxiang.
Lin Lin was appointed ambassador to Slovakia, replacing Pan Weifang.
Ji Yanchi was appointed ambassador to Georgia, replacing Yue Bin, who was appointed ambassador to Tajikistan replacing Fan Xianrong.
Niu Qingbao was appointed ambassador to Jamaica, replacing Dong Xiaojun, who will replace Yan Banghua to be ambassador to Uruguay.
