The Forestry Department of Yunnan Province recently issued a document titled "The Result of the Application, Affirmation and Evaluation of the 11th Batch of Leading Enterprises of Forestry Industry at Provincial Level", according to which another four enterprises in Pu'er City were rated as leading enterprises of forestry industry of Yunnan Province.
The successful applicants from Pu'er are Yunnan Huge Manor Co., Ltd., Zhenyuan Shengyuantang Biotechnology Development Limited Liability Company, Yunnan Enrun Biotechnology Development Co., Ltd., and Pu'er Yulin Forestry Development Co., Ltd. The four forestry enterprises cover such forestry sectors as medicinal herbs grown on the ground among trees, biomimetic planting, and flowers and seedlings. In 2014, they generated a gross output of RMB 66 million, getting 3,912 peasants and 2,241 hectares of farmland involved in the process.
