
CHENGDU, Jan. 19 -- The number of casualties of a landslide on a mountain road in southwest China's Sichuan Province Tuesday is currently unknown, the local fire department said.
The landslide occurred at around 2:42 p.m. in Tianchi Town in Mianzhu City. A witness claims five vehicles were buried, according to the department.
Rescue work is under way.
