Affected by the low temperature, large area of salt crystals has been formed in the salt pond in Yuncheng city, northern China's Shanxi province.

Yuncheng salt pond, also known as the salt lake and silver lake, is one of the most famous salt ponds in China. The salt produced here has pure white color, less impurity and is rich in sodium and calcium.
