
MUSCAT, March 1 -- A Chinese national was among 18 people killed in a road accident in western Oman on Tuesday, the Chinese Embassy in Muscat said.
The embassy added in a statement that another national was injured in the the pre-dawn collision on the road between Ibri and Fahud.
The two are businessmen engaged in trade deals between Oman and the UAE, it said.
And 14 people were wounded in the the collision that involved a bus and a truck. Other foreign nationalities are among the casualties.
