CAIRO, March 29 -- Highjacker of EgyptAir passenger plane has been identified as Egyptian, the State TV said Tuesday.
Passengers of highjacked Egyptair plane have been released on Tuesday morning, except the six crew and four foreigners, the Egypt Aviation Ministry said.
The Egyptian Civil Aviation Ministry said Tuesday that 61 people on board highjacked Egyptair passenger plane. The passengers included ten U.S. citizens and eight British and one Syrian.
Egyptair Company announced a plane that was heading from Alexandria to Cairo has been kidnapped and diverted to Cyprus on Tuesday, state TV reported.
About 61 people were on board of airplane No. 181, including six crew members, the report added.
