Cooperation between China and Russia in aviation sector is proceeding as planned, according to a spokesman of China's Ministry of National Defense (MND).
The military technical cooperation between China and Russia maintains healthy and steady momentum of development and specific projects in aviation sectors are proceeding as planned, said Yang Yujun, a senior colonel of the MND, when responding to the question "related people in Russia told media that the contract on the Su-35 fighter jets between China and Russia had not come into effect and the aircraft could not be delivered in 2016" at a regular press conference on March 31.
China reportedly confirmed a deal to buy Su-35 fighters from Russia in November 2015.
