China is to start using newly-designed vehicle license plates nationwide for the new-energy vehicles. These new plates will make it easier to differentiate electric cars from ordinary ones.
An online vote, launched on the official website of China's Public Security Ministry, asked netizens to select their favorite license plates from a choice of six templates.
The survey also allowed people to give their advice regarding the car plates via E-mail or Fax.
The vote will close at the end of the month.
