The funeral for a Chinese peacekeeper killed in Mali at the end of last month is held on Monday.
Shen Liangliang is being laid to rest today in the city of Jiaozuo in Henan.
The 29-year-old was killed in a terrorist attack at a UN camp in Mali on May 31st.
A public memorial for Shen Liangliang took place over the weekend in Jilin, with thousands taking time to mourn the fallen Chinese peacekeeper.
He was among a group of Chinese peacekeepers who came under attack by militants in northern Mali.
Five other Chinese peacekeepers were wounded in the attack.
