On June 19, a fisherman named Qi Guoneng suddenly suffered from slurred speech and his right side became paralyzed while fishing. Due to limited conditions in the Sansha People's Hospital, the fisherman had to be transferred to the Sanya 425 hospital for further treatment after emergency measures were taken to maintain vital signs. With the arrangement of the municipal government, the patient soon was transported by a helicopter from the South China Sea Fleet to Sanya.
The patient was diagnosed with left brain vascular thrombosis. The timely operation at Sanya 425 Hospital saved his life.
