
GUIYANG, July 4 -- Seven people are missing after a landslide buried five houses in southwest China's Guizhou Province in the early hours of Monday.
The accident occurred at around 2 a.m. in Qingtang Village, Tongren City, according to a statement from the city's publicity office.
Rescue work is under way.
On Friday, a rain-triggered landslide killed 23 people and injured seven others in Pianpo Village, Guizhou's Dafang County.
