Farmers in northwestern China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region recently prepared for a special flight that transports the local hami melons, similar to cantaloupe, directly to the city of Zhengzhou in central China's Henan province. The flight, which took place on July 7, carried about 5,000 melons weighing some 15 tons. The special delivery convoy is able to transport melons from the field directly to customers' houses within seven hours.(Photo/People's Daily Online)
