XINING, July 11, 2016 -- Photo taken on July 31, 2014 shows lakes in Madoi County of Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Golog, northwest China's Qinghai Province, . Over the past decade, lots of efforts have been devoted to rehabilitate the fragile eco-system of Sanjiangyuan and the ecological degrading has been basically curbed. However, there are still problems ranging from overlapping authority, weak law enforcement, lack of public awareness and a conflict between ecological protection and people's need for higher incomes. The Sanjiangyuan National Park has experienced system reform recently. The administration bureau will develop tourism, organic farming and stockbreeding in certain areas and test new management methods such as charity work, a grassland compensation mechanism and volunteering.
