
SYDNEY, Aug. 22 (People’s Daily Onine)Ummona Opal Mine &Museum is transformed by an underground mine, which is also the largest tourist attraction in Coober Pedy in South Australia.
The museum has been running since 1987. Visitors can enjoy a mine tour here, which is available three times a day. It will also be a great chance to know the development of mine industry a, mine culture and miner life. There are exhibitions of opal and other minerals available in the museum.
Manager of the museum, Nicholas Troisi said, we see a lot more Chinese tourists coming here between September to March and in general , there are more and more tourists from Asian visiting our museum. We are also trying to build some exciting new exhibits here next year.
