On the same day Kazakhstan “met” the giant pandas, a special China Pavilion located in the National Library of Kazakhstan opened its doors to visitors. The China Pavilion has a feeling that is both modern and traditional, bringing the people of Kazakhstan even closer to China. It makes them aware of the great opportunity called China.

But, back to the black-and-white stars of the event: the cute pandas. A performance called “Pandas walk the World” is performed, with dancing pandas and Kazakh women.
The event is important for China-Kazakhstan cultural relations because, while everyone knows about pandas, they know little about the beautiful land they are from. “We know about giant pandas, but not their beautiful native home,” said a representative from the Kazakhstan Tourism Association. But China gained from this experience too. Cultural exchanges are a two-way street. Officials from Sichuan learned more about the beauty and charm of Central Asia.

The activity “Pandas walk the World 2016: Beautiful China” is planned to continue till the end of the year. More people from around the world, including Denmark, Germany, Austria, the United States, and Canada, will be introduced to the beauty of China through giant pandas.
“Panina,” which is the combination of two words: panda and China, may just open your eyes to the beauty of China too.
