A total of 12 pieces of new equipment including the H-6K and KJ-500 will be available for viewing at China's aviation open day, which is scheduled to be held at Dafangshen Airport in Jilin, Changchun province from Sept. 1, the Beijing Times reported.
According to the report, more than 30 pieces of equipment will be included in the open day exhibition. Among them are fighters, including J-10A; bombers, such as H-6K, H-6 and JH-7A; medium-large sized transport aircraft IL-76 and Y-8; and an airborne early warning and control aircraft, KJ-500.
Four air demonstration teams - the Sky Wing Air Demonstration Team, the Red Falcon Air Demonstration Team, the August 1st Aerobatics Team and the Model Airplane Demonstration Team - will give performances for the occasion. It will be the first time that the Model Airplane Demonstration Team takes part in an open day.
