A touching and emotional wedding was held recently in Changchun, northeast China’s Jilin province on August 5, 2016. Almost every guest there, including the groom and bride, had tears rolling down on their cheeks, for the bride was dying.
Yi, 23, was suffering from liver cancer. By the time she found out, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. From that time onwards, Yi’s life began counting down.
What gave her hope was that her boyfriend Tao never did think of leaving her. Rather, he stayed by her side and incessantly encouraged her. The touching part was that Tao wanted Yi to be his wife.
So the wedding was held. But in less than a month, Yi passed away peacefully in the arms of her loved one on August 30, 2016.
