Over 200 drones are on display at the 6th China International UAS Conference & Exhibition (UAS 2016), which opened in Beijing on Sept. 20.
According to the exhibition’s organizer, more than half of the devices on display are authentic drones, while the rest are scaled down models. One of the biggest drones on display is the U650 amphibian UAS, made by a Shanghai company. The drone, with its 12.4-meter-long wingspan, overlooks the entire exhibition.
In addition to DJI and the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, which are both renowned in the UAS industry for their design and manufacturing, several universities are also presenting UAS products, including Zhejiang University, Beihang University and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. This year's exhibition additionally boasts a drone flying competition, the first round of which attracted quite a crowd on Sept. 20. (Photo/Jiang Jie)
