
Pretoria, Sep 27 (People’s Daily Online) - The Chinese Embassy in South Africa held a National Day reception on Tuesday, celebrating the 67th National Day of the People’s Republic of China.
Chinese Ambassador to South Africa TianXuejuan, South Africa’s Minister of Small Business Development Lindiwe Zulu, Minister of Basic Education Angelina Motshekga, Minister of Energy Tina Joemat-Pettersson attended the reception as top representatives of the both countries. Around 600 people from all walks of life in South Africa were invited to join the event.
Decorating with red lanterns, the Embassy also displayed China’s interaction, collaboration and close relationship with South Africa by multimedia, photo exhibition, and stands of Chinese enterprises investing in South Africa. Guests were also entertained by artists from Goede Hoop Marimba Band and China’s Yunnan Art Troupe.
