1. Mulan Paddock, Hebei province
Mulan Paddock (Mulan Weichang), situated between northern China's Hebei province and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, used to be a royal hunting ground and summer retreat during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Now it is a natural grassland resort covering an area of 2,324 square kilometers. The resort consists of Saihanba National Forest Park, Yudaokou Grassland and Forest Scenic Zone and Hongsongwa National Nature Reserve.
