On March 14, two young women from Russia and Hungary respectively participated in a job fair for students studying flight attendant services. The job fair was held by an airline in Chengdu, Sichuan province, and it attracted nearly 1,000 participants.
The two foreigners, both teachers at a local school, also nurtured the dream of becoming flight attendants. However, they are at a disadvantage due to their lack of Chinese language skills. No matter the final results, both women said this experience has deepened their understanding of the industry in China, helping them to be better teachers in the future.
