A total of 56 people gathered around the world's largest hotpot at the opening ceremony of the 96th China National Sugar and Alcohol Fair in Chengdu, Sichuan province on March 23. The hotpot weighed 13 tons and had a diameter of 10 meters. The China National Sugar and Alcohol Fair, a major national food and beverage fair, is held twice a year.
