
The Media Center for the upcoming Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation opened in Beijing on Friday.
Located in the China National Convention Center (CNCC) Exhibition Halls 1 & 2 (E1, E2), the center covers an area of about 10,000 square meters and is equipped with full Wi-Fi access. It will provide information services and technical support to facilitate the work of registered journalists. The center has also launched an official website (http://www.brfmc.org) and smart phone app.
Twenty-nine heads of state and government leaders will attend the forum, to be held from May 14 to 15. The forum is the highest-profile international meeting on the Belt and Road Initiative since China proposed the initiative in 2013.
