"Locarno is the best platform to show art films, because here, there is an audience, coming from all over the world, which is attentive to every single film that is screened," he told reporters.
Another film Dragonfly Eyes directed by internationally acclaimed Chinese artist Xu Bing, claimed Ecumenical Prize – Special Mention, Junior Jury Awards, and International Federation of Film Critics prize at the film festival.
The Locarno Festival is an annual film festival held every August in Locarno, Switzerland. Now in its 70th year, the festival takes place in the picturesque Swiss town on the shores of Lake Maggiore.
Founded in 1946, the Locarno Festival is one of the longest-running film festivals in the world.
