Photo taken on April 16, 2018 unveils a brand new look for Sanyanjing Hutong in Dongcheng District of Beijing. After a number of illegal buildings surrounding them were torn down, 57 time-honored hutongs in the district have now been returned to their former glory. The next step is to build the hutong area into a live museum which can be enjoyed by all who visit. The renovation plans include introducing information on each street, as well as on famous people who have lived there in both audio and video forms.
