The Meihua Mountain Cableway opened in January 2018 and claimed the title of the longest path mountainous cableway in the world.

Thanks to an investment of 937 million yuan, the 9.91 km cableway runs from nearby Liupanshui University through the Minghu National Wetland Park, Meihua Mountain International Ski Resort and ends in Gaolu village, the highest point on the mountain.
There are a total of 194 cabins, meaning the cableway has a daily capacity of 12,000 people. The cabins glide over mountains with a vertical height difference of 620 meters, meaning this ride isn’t for the faint hearted!
