An exhibition of Qidan cultural relics, which opened on Thursday at Beijing's Capital Museum and will run until Dec 9, helps to unveil the mysterious Qidan tribe. The nomadic ethnic group established the Liao Dynasty (907-1125) and dominated the vast area of Manchuria, Mongolia, and parts of northern China for over 200 years.
