The small city of Dunhuang in Gansu Province is only home to an estimated 200,000 people, spanning just 10 square kilometers. The main tourist attractions are outside of the city during the day, with visitors heading out to see the wonders of the desert. At night, however, a number of previously sleepy streets come alive, opening up into a night market for hungry visitors to eat, drink, shop and discuss their days. Come with us as we visit the Dunhuang Night Market!
