Snow hit Yabuli in northeastern China’s Heilongjiang province on Oct. 28, covering the Yabuli Panda House with a white blanket as deep as 20 centimeters. The two giant pandas residing in the enclosure, Youyou and Sijia, rushed out to play in the soft snow.
According to head of the panda house Yu Tengjiao, the snow changed the panda's living environment giving them the opportunity to display more of their natural behaviors.
The Yabuli Panda House is the most northern panda enclosure in China. (Photos provided by Yabuli Panda House)
