March 21 marks the International Day of Forests. So today let’s take a look at the forests in China's “greenest” province.
According to the ninth national check of forest resources, Fujian has ranked first in terms of forest coverage among all Chinese provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions for 40 years. Forests now cover 66.8 percent of the province's territory.
As China continues its efforts in ecological protection and forestation, Fujian will continue to see a growing percentage of forest coverage, meaning more beautiful scenery is to come.
