In addition to the record-breaking news, Wuxi Marathon's professional organized services, beautiful routes and live broadcast on CCTV5+ made the event something truly special. The outstanding success of the event is thanks to the sweat of all those who took part.
"This is my first time in Wuxi. The services along the running track and the support of the people and local government impressed me the most. I will come again for next year's marathon," said Liu Lei from Beijing, who finished the half marathon in a time of one hour and 22 minutes.

"It's just like the Wuxi Marathon's slogan 'you are the best'. I believe in the runners and wish them the best in Wuxi," said Mao Zhihui, a third-time volunteer at the marathon. She worked 9 hours a day getting runners their parcels at the Taihu International Expo Center from March 21 to 23.
