NEW YORK, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese center Han Xu, 19, was selected by New York Liberty in the WNBA draft 2019 here on Wednesday.
Han, 2.07m, was chosen in the second round, the 14th pick overall.
She became the second Chinese female basketball player joining WNBA through draft, following Zheng Haixia, also a center, who picked by the Los Angeles Sparks in the second round (16th overall) in the inaugural draft on February 27, 1997.
