A total of 90 domestic and foreign journalists went to visit Beijing's new international airport, located 46km south of the capital city's downtown area, on the sidelines of the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF).
The activity was co-organized by the media center of the second BRF and the information office of Beijing municipal government, with participants from 46 countries and regions, including the United States, Russia, Japan and the Netherlands.
According to China's top civil aviation administration, the Beijing Daxing International Airport will begin operation before Sept. 30.
