
The China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Culture and Art Carnival concluded in Beijing on May 3, as a major highlight of the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019, or Beijing Expo 2019.
A total of 100 foreign artists of 18 troupes from 12 CEECs participated in the three-day cultural event, during which 27 art performances were staged in the forms of dancing, music and drama.
CEECs displayed their handicrafts and intangible cultural heritages in 18 tents set up in the expo park. Meanwhile, the Beijing side presented an image of a world city through Beijing specialties, tourism promotion and intangible cultural heritage projects from Beijing’s Shijingshan District.
