Gufeng village is a courtyard of Tujia ethnic group with a history of more than 300 years. The courtyard is surrounded by more than 100 ancient maple trees, hence the name "Ancient Maple Village". More than 40 wooden stilted Tujia buildings are located in the courtyard, where local people retain the Tujia way of production and customs. In recent years, Qiaoliang village has been gradually built into an ethnic style village, attracting more and more tourists to come here for sightseeing. (Xinhua/Yang Min)
